Bathroom Remediation at a New Architectural Home
The owners of a new architectural home had spent a year trying to get their tiler back to fix irregularities in their high-spec, designer bathrooms. With nil response, the dis-satisfied homeowners went back to their builder seeking resolution of their tiling work.
“There was evidence of substandard workmanship like lippy tiles, poor finishing on mitres and tiles not lining up," says Josh, “so quite rightly, the owners wanted a bathroom that was up to the mark for a multi-million dollar residence.”
High expectations were met and they were relieved to have had a prolonged saga resolved professionally and expertly.

The builder stripped the bathrooms back to bare and contracted CBA to re-tile the entire main bathroom. “They were very technical bathrooms, with things like wing walls and recesses,” says Josh.
One had a high gabled ceiling that dropped to just under 2.1metres as you entered the shower area. This needed a wall to ceiling tiling to high standards and had plenty of tricky angles and mitred corners. Another required detailed tiling right up to the skylight which was recessed in the ceiling.
– Result
The result was a main and ensuite bathroom which now reflected the value of the new home and highlighted the architectural features of the building. The homeowners had their high expectations met and were relieved to have had a prolonged saga resolved professionally and expertly.
