One of New Zealand’s largest retirement village developments from Ryman Healthcare, Rangiora’s own Charles Upham Retirement Village. A four and half year project to build 180 serviced apartments and 340 townhouses in a secure village setting.

CBA Tiling was engaged to complete all tiling works throughout the massive build. “We had anywhere between five and 30 on-site at any one time depending on the stage of the build,” Josh says.
CBA Tiling undertook the tiling on all manner of village features including:
- Three lobbies
- Swimming pools & ponds
- Commercial kitchens
- Every apartment had at least one bathroom, some of them two
- Laundries, kitchens, bathrooms & toilets throughout every apartment & townhouse
A large undertaking over a long period of time, CBA Tiling completed all works to exact specifications and within the required time frame.

The client was very pleased with the end result and the project manager provided a very positive reference. Their working relationship remains a sound one. Over a period of eight years, CBA Tiling has completed the tiling on six village complexes for Ryman Healthcare.
